Grocery Deals This Week + Update

Ok, I have some serious updating for you all on my kitchen remodel and now we are on the tail end of it. I have been taking progress pictures, but haven’t had the time to get them loaded. Ugh! I will have a complete update for you all coming in the next few days. I will just tell you all this, electrical, plumbing, and drywall are not our forte. We did it, but boy were there some serious issues! We laugh about it now, but I seriously don’t think we will doing anymore kitchen remodels (in this house at least). I had to put us on a timeline because living out of boxes in the garage and having complete chaos in the living room on a daily basis has just about sent me over the edge. Just joking! But it is really hard to do. I am giving us one more week and we have to be DONE! By golly, we will get done with the kitchen (only to start another project)! Next project on the list is ripping all the wood paneling out of the living room (thank heaven it is painted because I don’t think I could have survive the last 5 years not painted!) That should only be a 3 day project after we hang the sheetrock, float, texture, and paint!

I’m Back….

Well, I am back….finally! This has been one of those weeks in our house, but I am coming back with a vengeance. Well, after taking my son to the doctor on Tuesday with his massive earache, we found out that it was just a raging ear infection that popped up over night. Great! So, after getting some antibiotics, we are on our way to getting him well. He has been out of school for the past 3 days, but should return tomorrow. He is going to have tons of work to catch up on over the weekend, but he can do it. He is only in Kindergarten, but I was amazed at the amount of work that is done in one day. Caleb brought home some work from Tuesday, which included about 7 sheets that they do daily. WOW!!
